Luttenberg, Raalte, Hellendoorn and Nijverdal

The village of Luttenberg is located on a small moraine with a peak of 31 metres. The “mountain” is an isolated part of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. The village has a grotto dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes, a replica of the grotto in Lourdes, built to mark the anniversary of the local priest at the time. A little further on is Dijkman Klompenatelier (traditional clog maker), where you can admire a beautiful mosaic of clogs.

Raalte is located in the heart of Salland. The village is not only hospitable and friendly, but also has a pleasant shopping centre. The village festival Stoppelhaene is celebrated annually in August, but the Ribbs en Blues event also attracts large crowds during the Whitsun holidays.

Hellendoorn is a village on the border of Salland and Twente. Hospitality, warmth and atmosphere are paramount in this idyllic village with its charming restaurants and museums. It is located in beautiful surroundings and offers numerous recreational opportunities. This municipality is also home to Nijverdal, ideal for a day of shopping. Hellendoorn also hosts fun annual events, such as Dauwpop and Helders fees.
