With the Heideslak through the Sallandse Heuvelrug

Would you like to discover the Sallandse Heuvelrug in a different way than by bike or on foot? Then set out in an electric cart together with a guide from Staatsbosbeheer! Short and long rides are available. More information can be found on the website of Staatsbosbeheer.

Het vechtdal

The Vechtdal is also definitely worth a visit. In addition to the beautiful nature, you will also find various visual arts, waters and restaurants here. Nice to sail on the Regge with a boat! There is plenty to do for both children and the elderly. But also pleasant shopping in, for example, the cozy Ommen is excellent in the beautiful Vechtdal. You can also enjoy strolling through the various weekly and regional markets, where artisanal products such as cheese, nuts, dairy and fish are sold.

Holterberg

The Holterberg is the most famous mountain of National Park De Sallandse Heuvelrug. On top of the Holterberg you will find the cozy Holterbergplein with various catering establishments, mini golf, a playground and Nature diorama Holterberg with the forest of Daantje Das. The impressive Canadian Cemetery with information center is also easily accessible from here. The Holterberg, with ample parking options on top of the mountain, is also an ideal starting point for cycling and walking tours.
