Apenheul

On the edge of the city of Apeldoorn you will find the Apenheul. More than 300 monkeys with a total of about 35 different species reside in the park. The origin of the monkeys is mostly Africa, South America and Asia. The unique thing about the Apenheul is that the monkeys roam very freely. This gives you as a visitor even more the idea that you are extra close to it.

Zoo Nordhorn

Just across the border in Germany you will find Nordhorn Zoo. With 10 hectares of land, Nordhorn zoo is large and more traditional in design.
